Alt Taverna is an indie rock project, the sound of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Josh Sené Todd’s search for meaning, purpose and truth. From early acclaim as a Young Guitarist of the Year runner-up to recording with Manics producer Greg Haver and touring nationally, his path has since taken him to the world of religion and philosophy in London, Barcelona and Dorset. These experiences now echo through his lyrically rich compositions, drawing on influences like Big Thief, Leonard Cohen, and Slowdive. Already gaining attention in songwriting circles, debut single "The Sea, The Sea" reached the semi finals of the UK Songwriting Contest, receiving a five-star rating from judges.
